Voice-Over Technique Workshops

  Perfect for University Drama Departments and Acting Schools.

  In a group situation we will focus on all aspects of the voice-over audition, such as:

  •Slating

  •Working with the microphone and headphones

  •Cold readings

  •Understanding the cadences of commercial, promotional,

  and legal readings

  •Finding your voice

  •How to take direction from the Casting Director/Engineer

  •How to conduct yourself within the "business" of voice -overs

We will supply all copy, though we may ask you to come in with something prepared.

  Depending on time and/or number of students, you will read both solo copy and 'scenes' with partners.

  In either case, each student will get a chance to record professional voice-over copy, listen back to their recording, and then receive professional and personal feedback from us.

We will also provide a brief resource packet containing

names, numbers, web-sites, etc. you will want to have

at the start of your voice-over career.
